Shropshire Watkins to Illinois (UK & Ireland)

We are seeking information on the John W. Watkins family who came to the US, settling in Jonesboro, Union Co., Illinois, before 1835.

John Watkins born abt. 1799 England
married Mary Bratton (b. unknown) on May 29, 1827 at Stoke Upon Tern, Shropshire

Their children:
Sarah Watkins, b March 1831 at Gainsborough, Lincoln, England
Mary Ann Watkins, b December 1831 at Childs Ercall, Shropshire, England
Thomas J. Watkins, b Aug. 14, 1838 at Shropshire, England

We have information on their lives in the years that followed emigration, but are curious to learn about their home and wider family in England.
